• Just come home from a long weekend at this little gem of a place. Quirky and olde worlde but with all the mod cons you could ever need. There’s even electric blankets on the beds! Spotlessly clean and such a lovely welcome from the owner Helen. In the middle of nowhere your only neighbours are the local wildlife (in our case sheep and their lovely little lambs). There’s a little brook tumbling past that the dogs loved and a waterfall a few hundred yards away. Totally enclosed garden and under cover seating area, cosy blanket and an open fire. • We stayed her two years ago and can't wait to get back again this year. Mire Garth is just beautiful and the enclosed garden is perfect for sitting out and resting. The views and stillness are breath taking, as is the night sky. Walks from the house and nearby are great and Dent is a favourite village.
  Rob and Helen are really friendly and accommodating hosts. Can't recommend it highly enough. Alison and Jan, Swanage, Dorset
