What a fantastic the place. I could not find one single fault. I stayed her for one night over Christmas and everything was just perfect. The staff could not do enough for you and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend. I do recommend making a booking as the place gets very busy.

Visited The Plough for a quick lunch on Saturday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mark the General Manager who showed us to our table swiftly and presented us with the Specials and Lunchtime menu. I opted for the Halibut on the Specials and my partner had the Steak Burger. We were not disappointed, the food arrived in timely manner in fact it did not seem long at all, we were soaking up the atmosphere in the bar, reading the newspapers and talking to the other customers. I enjoyed a large glass of Sauvignon Blanc with the Halibut which complemented the dish very well, my poor partner was driving so soft drink for her. We opted for coffees over desserts afterwards as we had to be elsewhere. A very quick pit stop lunch was enjoyed by us all. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Just wish we lived closer so we could enjoy the lovely wines more.
