Open daily 10am – 5.30pm from February 11th – November 2nd 2012
Last entry will be at 1pm and we will close at 2pm on the following days (usually Saturdays) due to weddings. We may also close early on other Saturdays during the season if we receive any late wedding bookings so please call the Castle or check the website before visiting:

Important Information
No Dogs
Please note dogs are not allowed in the Castle and due to the falconry experience we cannot allow dogs in the gardens as they can frighten the birds.

Access
Please be aware that the castle is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and is not easily accessible for those with reduced mobility as spiral stairs and uneven surfaces exist throughout the building. Please see our website for a full access statement.

Falconry
Please be aware that in poor weather conditions the birds may be weathered inside and the falc. ons may be unable to fly
