More Information
Located on the Duke of Devonshire's Bolton Abbey Estate in Upper Wharfedale, the whole site, which consists of the ruined Barden Tower, the Priests House restaurant and function venue and the bunk barn, is grade 1 listed being one of the most important historical sites in the Yorkshire Dales. The site perched overlooking the Wharfedale valley below boasts fantastic views in all directions.
The barn is an ideal get away for larger groups, a place to relax with friends and family. Alternatively, it is perfect to use as a base for outside activities such as walking, climbing or cycling or for school residential groups, a private venue for music bands to practice or for wedding guests for the next door Priests House. It is perfect for many uses but not for 18th and 21st birthday parties or stag / hen do's....sorry. There are 4 bedrooms sleeping 2, 4,6 and 6.
The barn has been extensively refurbished in recent years with improved electrics, new flooring and a range of new furniture. There are two separate outside seating areas too including a double barbecue.
