• I can certainly recommend the food in the Fleece and you are also assured of a warm welcome. We were out walking shortly after Xmas and arrived at the Fleece ravenous. Even though it was after the published closing time for food the landlord looked after us and we enjoyed the most magnificent battered haddock and chips along with a couple of welcome pints of Black Sheep. With a wide variety of real ales this is definately an inn for a beer enthusiast! Les, York
