  • A fab, fun family day out.

We visited for the summer fayre and had a great day. The trams were running, the weather was great and all the lovely stalls were worth a browse too. The big wheel was the highlight, lovely view at the top, take a picnic with you and make a day of it. My ticket lasts a year too so I’ll be back.

  • Great Day out

Drove up from MK during the week and spent about 4hrs on site, if the weather had been better we probably would have spent longer. Rode 3 different trams and looked around all the buildings, took lunch but had snack in the restaurant. Plenty to see and do and pet friendly.

  • Family day out.

The whole family really enjoyed it. An amazing fun filled day. Everyone loved riding on the trams. The history of where it all began the adults loved. The children just loved everything about it. We went to an old fashioned sweet shop and they loved it. We would happily come back again and again.

  • Fabulous attraction near the beautiful ancient town of Wirksworth

The Tramway Museum and village is a world class attraction. There can literally not be anything else like this anywhere on the planet. It is a truly fantastic day out and not far from my favorite Derbyshire Dales/Peak District town, the beautiful, ancient and quaint Wirksworth. The two places combined will give you a taste of one of the most beautiful places in the UK, Derbyshire Dales and Peak District.

  • What a lovely end of season place to visit!

We visited here with our 2 year old toddler and 8 year old nephew on the last Saturday of the season, we really enjoyed ourselves and managed to get on 4 trams by stopping at certain destinations and getting on another one when we had finished. The trams run regularly so there isn't much waiting. It wasn't overly busy and we got in free using our return ticket as we had attended the WWII event early in the year, which was very good might I say. Well worth a visit or two, we always enjoy our day out here.
