Welcome to our small family-run holiday park

Set in the heart of beautiful Ryedale countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Wrens of Ryedale is a quiet family run caravan holiday park ideally located for a peaceful holiday in the country, yet within easy reach of major tourist attractions.

The four acre holiday park provides static holiday home and seasonal touring pitches. We also have a small number of touring caravan pitches available. Our centrally heated amenity block has free showers, laundry facilities, hair and hand drying, and separate dishwashing area. Wi-fi is also available throughout the park.

The peaceful atmosphere and the rural setting of Wrens of Ryedale holiday park is an important part of the attraction of the site. Visitors often comment on how quiet it is even when busy, yet it's not far to the historic City of York, the Yorkshire Dales, the Yorkshire Moors, Scarborough and the Yorkshire Coast. A superb location for a holiday.

Seasonal touring pitches and static holiday homes are available.

  • Fantastic stay

Me and a couple of friends stayed over the bank holiday weekend, the lady owner of the site was amazing right from the moment we arrived, she hooked the caravan on to the back of her tractor and reversed it on to our pitch, she helped with wifi login, and maps to nearby farm shops, she couldn't do enough for us. The site is immaculate with well cut grassed pitches and the cleanest toilet and shower block I've ever seen. Lovely quiet site would definitely recommend. (Even more strongly if she let us watch the boxing tonight)

  • Immaculate, quiet, well organised Caravan Park

This park is beautiful. There are lodges at the back of the site, then permanently parked privately owned caravans, leaving a small area near the front for visitors. The whole park is immaculate, well organised and pretty. We stayed for 2 nights in a tent right by the entrance and still felt very comfortable. There is an entrance barrier with security card so you are assured no one can just drive on. The wash block is pristine with bins labelled for disposal of everything. A lot of the clientele come every weekend so everyone respects the park. As newcomers we still felt welcome. There is a play park about 20 mins walk away. The owners have a very large field up the lane to walk your dog so they really have thought of everything. You really are right in the country and if you like a well ordered park, peace and quiet with considerate neighbours this place is for you!

  • 1st class caravan site

Just back from a weeks stay at Wrens of Ryedale and everything was perfect. The young couple that own the site are so helpful and charming. Nothing is ever to much trouble for them and they work so hard all day to keep the site so beautiful. The toilet block is the best we have see in 40 years of caravaning. Thank you for a wonderful holiday and we will be back.

  • Peaceful campsite immaculately maintained

Wrens of Ryedale is a lovely tidy campsite, near to Helmsley and Harome in North Yorkshire. It is lovely and peaceful and immaculately maintained by its owners who live on site. The site has mainly caravans including some statics but does accept a small no of tourers, motorhomes and tents. The toilet and shower block is spotless and maintained to a high standard. There is a washing up area under cover and a laundry room. A small 'book box' is provided for people to swap books. This is an ideal area for cycling, walking or sightseeing in an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you are looking to just relax or do something more energetic we can highly recommend Wren's.

  • Terrific campsite

Stayed a week at this campsite in August 2014. The campsite caters mainly for touring and static caravans although there are pitches available for tents. The toilet blocks for both men and women were spotlessly clean as were the showers - the blocks were very well maintained and were never busy. There were washing up facilities as well as a laundry room (which I didn't use), again all kept in an immaculate condition. The site was extremely quiet. The location was fabulous- about 4 miles outside of Helmsley. We were able to do a lot of walking in the surrounding area of the site as well as visiting Whitby and Scarborough. A short drive takes you out into the Moors where the walking is incredible. I would highly recommend this site and will be returning .
