This caravan park is only a mile away from the centre of Whitby and is well situated for the North Yorkshire Moors and the coast. The surrounding area is undulating countryside, the nearest two mile stretch of beach is only a short walk away. A Golf course is next to the campsite. Caravans and motorhomes are welcome, all pitches are on level ground with electric hook ups and hardstanding. There are attractive modern amenities and over 50 touring pitches. Staff are helpful and friendly and the campsite is well equipped. No tents. ...

This is a very open and well-maintained campsite, with lawns and flowerbeds. There is a tennis court, playing field and dog exercise field. All the roads are tarmac and all pitches are hardstanding with electric hook-up, a number of pitches have water also.

The two blocks of amenities are attractive stone buildings and the facilities they offer are of a high standard. There are shaver and hairdryer points and privacy cubicle available which is useful for disabled visitors. There are plenty of utility areas for washing up. The laundry offers washing machines and dryers, a free spin dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board.

The reception area has very helpful staff and plenty of local information for visitors, with a small shop selling the essentials like bread and milk. Calor Gas can be purchased at the caravan park. A pay phone is also available for visitors use.

A parade of shops is nearby which includes a supermarket. Dogs are welcome at the campsite but must be kept on a lead at all times. Temporary pitches are available near the entrance with electric hook ups for very late arrivals so that they do not disturb others on the campsite. The coast, moors and steam railway are easily reached from this campsite and both Guisborough and Whitby are nearby.
