  • Great Location

Lovely location in the dales, perfect for exploring the surrounding areas. Facilities were very clean. Only reason I have given four stars instead of 5 is that sometimes when it was busy there was quite a weight for showers and toilets, something that obviously isn't an issue all of the time.

  • Fantastic in all respects!

This is a lovely site to camp at. Excellent facilities for any camper. If you aren't happy with facilities here then stay at home. The set up here is as good as a hotel, spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. Snuggled between Keld and Muker in a beautiful location this is a great kick back and enjoy the countryside destination. Wonderful site, wonderful facilities and wonderful people. As with all remote destinations it's best to plan ahead with regards shopping facilities or opening times for local establishments. Thank you for the pleasure.

  • Great location and facilities

Loved the location of this campsite - in such a beautiful part of the Dales and between the villages of Muker and Thwaite. Easy walk (20mins) into Muker along a footpath with it's pub and village store.

Showers and toilet facilities good, never had to queue, warm and always hot water. Drying facilities also available as was washing up.

    Smallish campsite which we liked.

  • Torn between 4 and 5 star.

The only reason, and I mean only reason I'm giving 4 and not 5 star is because I've paid less for more on a campsite but... do you really need a play park for the kids and a fully stocked Sainsburys on site? No. Also, to be fair, it was peak season. This is a campsite for people who like more than just a field but don't need the "swings and roundabouts" of chain-style campsites. The views are stunning the village of Muker (make sure you call it Mewker or you will be frowned upon) with pub and shop is on your doorstep, there is a small selection of supplies availabe and the cleaning facilities are all indoors and heated. Always clean.

  • Great campsite- very friendly and helpful owners

Really spacious campsite, and the owners allow you to arrive and leave whenever you like which is great. Excellent facilities including toilets, showers and kitchen. We borrowed a fire pit for no charge and bought some firewood and kindling for £6 in total which was good value. The owners were also kind enough to let us use a portable power pack to jump start our car when the battery had gone flat. Can't fault the facilities, a really good base in a lovely part of Yorkshire.
