Explore acres of stunning woodland, run wild and free in our adventure play area or meet exotic birds and animals, no two visits to Thorp Perrow Arboretum are the same!

Covering 100 acres, Thorp Perrow Arboretum boasts one of the largest collections of shrubs and trees in the North of England, including 5 National Collections. The Bird of Prey and Mammal Centre offers fascinating flying demonstrations and the chance to meet mammals such as meerkats, wallabies, pygmy goats and Shetland sheep.

The packed diary of events offers something for everyone, from seasonally-themed trails and activity weekends, open-air tribute band concerts, to expert-led tours and walks. The licensed tearoom serves a delicious range of locally-produced seasonal lunches and a mouth-watering selection of cakes and sweet treats. Kids have their own dedicated menu, perfect for re-fuelling after running wild and free in the adventure play area.
