  • Excellent Stay

Just returned from a few days stay, what an excellent place, very warm welcome on arrival, very clean and comfortable caravan. Grounds very well maintained and the animals a great feature. Would certainly return for further visits.

  • Just lovely

Just had a break here, Monday to Friday. Our 4th time staying here. We stayed in the Beverley caravan, which was roomy, clean, modern & had everything we needed. We go here because my husband & son love the carp fishing lake. They caught loads over the 4 days, including 14 & 15lb Carp, plus smaller fish including bream. I'm not into fishing, so I spent time at the Retail Park which is 10 minutes up the road. Its very peaceful at Barmston Farm, so I enjoyed sitting round the Lake reading too. Small children would love the little play area, & all the animals - donkeys, goats, chickens, dogs, cats etc. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet relaxing fishing holiday.

  • Lovely peaceful and relaxing

Just returned from a 4 night stay, booked last minute. Wasn't sure what to expect, we needn't have worried!

On arrival we were shown where to park, shown around the caravan and even given excellent advice for local places to go that are dog friendly.

The caravan was Lovely, clean and full of useful information about the area. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever had...amazing! The children even found games....chess, dominoes and noughts and crosses, which occupied them on the downpour day!
The farm was very quiet, only 5 caravans and a few cottages, but was beautiful and green. There were even chickens roaming freely!

There was a picnic bench outside each caravan and a small area with swingball. There was a children's play area with swing, slide, sandpit and playhouse for the younger children. For our teenagers there was a playroom, complete with pool, free air hockey and table football.

A very relaxing location. There was even a fishing lake, that could be used free for those fisher people out there

A great find, hope to be back soon!

  • So relaxing and fun.

When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the owner he showed us to our static home. Explained the heating and boiler etc . Upon entering the static caravan it was clean and fresh and a welcome pack and a Easter basket with treats and crafts for the children was on the table with a Easter card. We found well stocked cutlery and tableware and cleaning products. Our heating worked our shower was powerful and never ran out. The cooker was lovely to use. The living area was large and had a TV cd player and selection of board games. The sleeping areas were clean and comfortable. Having never stayed in a static home before we were very happy. Our children really loved seeing chickens and ducks and farm animals and the play park was really enjoyed. We will return
